Odisha Samples Negative

NB Dhal, Principal Secretary Health & Family Welfare said all the 17 samples collected from suspected patients testing negative to the novel coronavirus in the state.

Looking at the results, Odisha Government has  appealed people not to panic over the deadly disease and made it clear that there is no necessity to use mask by healthy persons.

Mr.Dhal said “There is no need for healthy persons to use mask. All should instead frequently wash hands and maintain hygiene in order to prevent the disease”.

 

Principal Secretary said the Government will take strict action against those found involved in hoarding and black marketing of protective masks and hand sanitizers will face stern action.

The Directorate of Drug Control, Odisha has meanwhile, directed drugs inspectors across the state to be vigilant and conduct raids on medical stores to check hoarding of masks and sanitizers.
