Naveen Launches Mo Parivar


Chief Minister of Odisha and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik today formally launched the social service initiative of the party christened as ‘Odisha-Mo Parivar’ (Odisha-My Family).

Chairing the first meeting of Mo Parivar at Naveen Niwas, Mr.Patnaik said this initiative is aimed at working assiduously towards protection of environment, ensuring healthcare and welfare of the Odias in distress.
 
Mo Parivar Convener Arup Patnaik, Co Conveners Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Nalini Kanta Pradhan, Chandra Sekhar Sahu, Pinaki Mishra, Achyut Samanta and several senior BJD leaders graced the occasion.
 
He advised the party leaders and workers to be a part of this initiative rising above party politics.  Three sub-committees have been constituted to carry forward the activities of Mo Parivar initiative - Environment Protection Committee, Blood Donation and Healthcare Service Committee and Committee to help the Odias in distress. 
 
Under the program, BJD party leaders and workers will ensure environment protection by launching massive plantation program across the state.  The protagonists will also work towards plastic-free Odisha as well as renovation of the water bodies in the State.
 
Similarly, consorted efforts will be made under the program to ensure delivery of healthcare facilities to all and help Odias in distress. The members will try and establish contact with Odias living outside Odisha.
