Agarwal Opens Hausala


Director Social Welfare Odisha, Arvind Agarwal inaugurated the State Festival for Children of Child Care Institutions (CCIs) “Hausla 2019” here on 1 December.


Speaking at the two days long event from 1-2 December, Mr.Agarwal said that the idea behind the entire event is to provide a State Level Platform for the children from CCIs across the State to showcase their talent.

This Festival is organized to make them realize the hidden talent they possess and to help take it forward in their life.

He said that this event would instill confidence in them to achieve greater heights in life. Mr.Agarwal also resolved to make the event like Hausla even stronger.
 
Mr.Agarwal also said that the event shall inspire children of Child Care Institutions so that they can reach the National Stage for expressing their capabilities.

State Commission For Protection of Child Rights, Chairperson Sandhyabati Pradhan said children are the beautiful creation of God. Once they are made good human being, there will be sea change in society.

The Inter-Child Care Institution Festival is witnessing participation of hundreds of Children drawn from 246 CCIs across the State in the various events like painting competition, chess, athletics, football, long jump, high jump in the Festival.

Those children will come out successful in competitions, will be participating in the National Competition at New Delhi.

Odisha Team for its excellent performance has become champion for last two years in the national Level, said Rega Getarani Patnaik, Joint Secretary DoWCDMS.
