5T Mantra For Police

DGP BK Sharma has laid emphasis on police personnel becoming citizen friendly and maintaining dignified behaviour towards normal citizens, while harping on 5T Mantra for cops.

Inaugurating the newly constructed Armed Reserve Police Office at Bhawanipatna on 3 November, DGP said that there has been noticeable change in the behaviour of police in the last one month and the perception of the people about police is slowly changing for good with implementation of 5T and Mo Sarkar Initiatives.

Speaking about the 5T and Mo Sarkar initiatives of the State Government, he exhorted them to keep this up and work in tandem with the people whom they are serving.

He also listened to the difficulties faced by them during the feedback mechanism and assured them that only those people who deviated from the expected lines shall be taken to task while those performing exceptionally well would be given befitting incentives and rewards.

B Gangadhar, SP Kalahandi organized the Meet, which was attended by at least three cops from 17 Police Stations operating in the District.

Cops presented the challenges they confronting while implementing Mo Sarkar and 5T Initiative.

DGP Mr.Sharma gave out clear cut instructions in this regard and advised them to adopt impartial approach in solving issues with the people.

Earlier DGP met the senior citizens of the District and discussed their problems and advised the District Police to look into the issues with all sincerity.

Issues pertaining to women, children and senior citizens are to be handled with utmost priority, advised Mr.Sharma.
