5T Marks In ACR

State Government has decided that the implementation of 5T components will be accorded 20 percent weightage in the Performance Appraisal of the officers.

And the State Government has decided that Annual Performance Appraisal Reports of the District SPs and Indian Forest officers of the level of Additional PCCF and above will be submitted to Chief Minister so as to further improve the accountability to provide citizen centric governance.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today exhorted government officials to work in cohesion by implementing the 5Ts – team work, transparency, technology, transformation and time – to bring about transformational changes in the State.

At a brainstorming session with senior officials of the State Government at Secretariat here today, Patnaik said that the Odisha Government’s efforts on disaster management, provision of land rights to slum dwellers and successful reduction of Maoist influence in the State have been recognised in the entire country and put the State on global benchmark.

The Government decided that the Directorates under the Departments shall function as composite entity; and the OSWAS system shall also be modified to integrate the Directorates with the Departments in order to streamline the functioning of Directorates and speed up the process of decision making.

The Chief Minister also discussed on the new initiatives on 5T to be taken up by Works, Housing & Urban Development, Energy, Higher Education, SSEPD, Health & Family Welfare and the Revenue & DM Departments.
