Shree Jagannatha Web Launched

Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration (SJTA) has launched an website on the eve of Shri Gundicha 2019, in a simple ceremony here on 2 July.

Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb launched the website at Sri Nahar, which is an interactive and informative as well as an well designed web platform on Lord Jagannatha.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has lauded the attempt and in a message has said that “It gives me immense pleasure to learn the SJTA is launching its new website on the eve of Sri Gundicha, 2019 with a range of new features and useful information, I hope it will benefit devotees across the world”.

After launching the website Gajapati Shri Deb said the website attempts to authentically represent the ancient heritage and tradition of Lord Jagannatha along with various information and data related to the temple which would be of interest to devotees around the world. Puri Lawmaker Jayant Sarangi was present.

Chief Administrator SJTA, Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra, ADG Law and Order Sanjeeb Panda, IG Central Range Soumendra Kumar Priyadarshi , District Collector Balwant Singh, SP Umashankar Das and other senior officials of SJTA and District Administration were present.

Designed and Developed by Suyog Computech, an International IT and ITES Service provider the website is for the first time added new features and has made it ‘Mobile Friendly’ as now a days, people are gluing to the mobiles not to the computers.

Firstly domain name was changed from to as before Lord Jagannatha, Shree should be there said Manoranjan Mohapatra, an ardent devotee of Lord Jagannatha and CMD of Suyog Computech.

Earlier flash players were used in the old website and now it has been changed to upload videos and new technology has been adopted for the purpose, said Mr.Mohapatra, who was present in the launching ceremony.

Suyog Computech did the excellent job free of cost, while big players of IT and ITES sector were asking for big sum and SJTA Chief was not agreeing to their conditions and huge charges of fee, admitted a senior official of SJTA.

More and more new features will be added and this website will be a store house of all information relating to Lord Jagannatha, said Mr.Mohapatra.
