Naveen Asks For Reports

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today directed all the Ministers of his Cabinet to submit a report to him every month by the first week on the steps they have taken to implement promises given in the election manifesto which have been accepted as Government programs.


Accordingly, the Ministers will have to submit their first report on programs concerning their respective departments by July 7.

It is notable that on the day the new BJD Government assumed power on June 29, the first Cabinet approved the election manifesto as Government’s official program.
Addressing the new Ministers, Mr.Patnaik had declared the very day that just on the completion of 365 days, the Government will inform the people on how much progress it has made in a year in implementing the promises made in the manifesto.

“I want that our Ministers should put in their best efforts for successful implementation of the programmes,” the Chief Minister had said.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister had added a ‘Time’ frame to the governments Four-T Mantra- Team Work, Transparency, Technology and Transformation, making it into a Five-T dimensional framework for cent per cent achievement of set goals within the stipulated period.
 
He had also underlined a Dynamic Administrative Model.

Mr.Patnaik had called upon the Ministers to immediately start work giving importance to building up of a new and strong Odisha by removal of poverty, development of women, their equal participation in the development process and realisation of the dreams of the youth.
