Singh Gets Warm Farewell


1985 Batch IPS Officer Kanwar Brajesh Singh was given a warm farewell as he superannuated from service on 31 May.


IPS Association of Odisha organized the farewell ceremony at State Police Bhawan here, where several Top Cops attended the ceremony.

Mr.Singh, who served the State for long 34 years was appreciated by his colleagues including DGP, R P Sharma,  Director General Intelligence Sunil Roy, Twin City Police Commissioner, Satyajit Mohanty and others.

Mr.Singh was CMD OSRTC, where he brought lot of improvement in the State Carrier  and was able to infuse more fleets of vehicles to cover the rural and far flung KBK Zones.

While he has served longest period of his service in KBK Zones, served as DGP for two long years from 2015 to 2017, Mr.Singh was also DG Vigilance and Chief of Biju Patnaik State Police Academy(BPSPA).

ADGP Sanjeeb Panda, ADGP Pranabindu Achrya, ADGP Lalit Das, ADGP Susanta Nath and others spoke about his contributions for the State Police and his warm hearted approach towards all.

IGP Asheet Panigrahi coordinated the ceremony, which felicitated Mr.Singh for his positive contributions.

After the ceremony as per the tradition, Mr.Singh was lifted in a chair from the Bhawan and brought to the car by the Top Cops including ADGP Mr.Nath and ADGP Mr.Achrya.

He was wished Bon Voyage and Good Health by the Top Cops.
