OSBC Donates 5 Crore

As Odisha wrestles with the aftermath of severe cyclonic storm FANI, a host of government and private enterprises and individuals continue to pour in financial contributions to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for relief and restoration work in the ravaged state.


The CMRF received contributions to the tune of Rs 13,45,51,100 from 23 organisations and individuals today.

Odisha State Beverages Corporation(OSBC), a State PSU contributed Rs. Five Crore to the CMRF.
 
Secretary Excise and Chairman OSBC Sushil Kumar Lohani presented the cheque to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at State Secretariat here on 14 May.
 
Serajuddin & Co. Contributed Rs 5 crore, while Khimji Dayabhai & Sons, Jyote Motors gave Rs 21 lakh and Rs 10 lakh respectively.

The employees of Falcon Marine Export Pvt. Ltd donated Rs 20.12 lakh and its CEO P Padmanabhan offered Rs 5 lakh to the CMRF.

Annapurna Finance, Ganjam District Administration, Kalinga Commercial Corporation and Exim Logistics Pvt. Ltd. contributed Rs 25 lakh, Rs 39 lakh, Rs 10 lakh and Rs 2 lakh respectively.

Former MLA Bhupinder Singh donated Rs 1 lakh, while MP Pratap Keshari Deb contributed Rs 5 lakh and MLA Raseswari Panigrahi gave Rs 1 lakh.

The Chief Minister has thanked the contributors for coming forward to held the people of Odisha at their hour of need.
