Army Of OAS For Fani


For the First Time the State Government has deployed Army of Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) Officers for assisting the District Administration in rescue and Post cyclone FANI Relief and Restoration Operation in the respective Districts.


Bishnupada Sethi, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) briefed Media about deployment of 11 Senior IAS and 60 Senior OAS Officers in the Districts of Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Bhadrakh, Balasore and Mayurbhanj.

For Puri, while ACS Forest & Environment Suresh Chandra Mahapatra is kept in charge, Nine OAS Officers, Krushna Prasad Pati, Subash Chandra Das, Manas Ranjan Padhi, Prafulla Kumar Swain, Sashank Sekhar Dash, Subhranshu Mishra, Pratap Chandra beura, Anjan Kumar Das and Chinmaya Kumar Achrya have been deputed to Puri.

Sudarshan Pal Thakur, Chief Administrator KBK has been assigned overall supervision of Relief and Restoration in Bhadrakh District.
Five Senior OAS Officers, Sudhakar Burgi, Aswini Kumar Choudhury, Nigamananda Panda, Arun Kumar Mohapatra, and Rama Chandra Jena have been deputed to this Coastal District.

For Cuttack, Sanjiv Chopra, Principal Secretary Industries is kept on overall charge and Nine OAS Officers are deputed.
Those include, Suman Behera, Bijaya Kumar Rath, Chittaranjan Patra, Rudra Prasanna Sahu, Radha Krushna Rout, Santosh Kumar Dash, Sridhar Nayak, Ambar Kumar Kar, and Abani Kanta Pattnaik to tackle problem in Cuttack.

Pradeep Kumar Jena, Principal Secretary Water Resources, has been assigned Kendrapada District along with Hemanta Kumar Padhi, Director Estates.
And Eight Senior OAS Officers have been deputed to the Vulnerable Zone.

They are Sashadhar Nayak, Bikash Chandra Mohapatra, Pradipta Kishore Satapathy, Dilip Kumar Sahoo, Pratap Chandra Mishra, Nruparaj Sahoo, Bijaya Swain and Sarada Prasad Panda.
 
For Khordha, Krishan Kumar, Secretary Works and Cooperation is kept on overall charge and Eight OAS Officers, Gangadhar Sahoo, Gangadhar Nayak, Saroj Kumar Patel, Prasanta Kumar Rath, Debasis Singh, Ashok Kumar behera, Santosh Kumar Pradhan and Dharnidhar Nanda have been sent to Khordha.

Saswata Mishra, Secretary Higher Education will supervise Relief and Restoration work in Jagatisnghpur District and Five Senior OAS Officers have been deputed to the District.

They are Biswajeet Kesari Das, Sukanta Kumar Patnaik, Kanhu Charan Malik, Rajib Lochan Singh, and Jyoti Shankar Mohapatra.

Prem Chandra Chaudhury, Director Special Projects and PD DRDA Koraput, Md.Abdaal Akhatar have been assigned Balasore District.

Six Senior OAS Officers, Biswa Mohan Ray, Saran Kumar Jena, Laxmidhar Das, Manmath Kumar Pani, Chitrasen Pasayat and Niranjan Sethi have been deputed to the district.

For Jajpur, RDC Central Division, Anil Kumar Samal  has been assigned the job of supervision.

Five Senior OAS Officers have been deputed for Jajpur District and they are Abdul alim Khan, Dhananjaya Swain, Satya Ranjan Sahoo, Sudhanshu Sekhar Bhuyan and Sewta Kumar Dash.

Mayurbhanj District Administration will be assisted by Five Senior OAS Officers, including Mohan Charan Das, Pradeep Kumar garadia, Purandar Dharua, Maheswar Panigrahi, and Ranjit Parida.

These senior OAS Officers have proceeded to the respective Districts and they will be assisting the respective District Administration, which is engaged in rescue and rehabilitation operations.
