Rahul On Visit II

After his first visit on January 25, Congress President Rahul had caused much impact on the Odisha Politics.

The young President of the oldest party targeted both BJD President Naveen Patnaik and BJP President Amit Shah.
Rahul had two events- one a town hall interaction and another a public meeting during his first visit.
Simialrly, Rahul during his second visit to the state on Wednesday too has two programmes, addressing public meetings at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district and at Rourkela in Sundergarh district.
Rahul is expected to make the same impact this time in western region of the state where BJP claimed to have a better support base.

The Congress President will take on both BJP and the BJD in western districts bordering Chhattishgarh where the party captured power last year.
Since western districts are mostly inhabited by farmers, tribals and industry labourers, Rahul is likely to rake the issues concerning farmers, adivasis and workers.
He may also impress upon the people of western Odisha as he successfully does in neighbouring Chhattishgarh.
Senior party leader of Odisha Congress Bhakta Charan Das said this will be the first visit of Rahul to the KBK region in nine years and so, people have high expectations from him.
The people from about nine districts will gather at the public meeting in Bhawanipatna, he said.
The people of KBK region, mostly poor and tribals have emotional link with Gandhi family and they may turn out in a big number to see the grandson of Indira Gandhi.
The Congress President is coming to Odisha after three back-to-back visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and recent two visits of BJP president Amit Shah.
Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha agin for the third time within 20 days for the third time.
