Dora Attends Intel Meet

On invitation of the International Cooperative Fisheries Organisation (ICFO), South Korea, FISHCOPFED President T Prasad Rao Dora visited Istanbul, Turkey to participate in an international programme.

The Program is sponsored by the ICFO and the Turkish Fisheries Federation, on the occasion of 8th World Fishery Cooperative Day on July 3. 

Delegates from member countries like India, Nepal, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, Myanmar, Palestine, Tanzania, Maldives and the host country Turkey participated in the programme held at the Conference Hall of Istanbul University. 

During interaction with ICFO officials, decision was taken to organize the next World Fisheries Cooperative Day in India.
 
It was also decided to send Indian delegation to South Korea on the knowledge support programme.

The Fishery Cooperative movement of India shall be immensely benefited by the strategic alliance between ICFO and FISHCOPFED, said Mr.Dora.
