Satya Gets Central PSU

With the fresh assignment for Satyabrata Sahu notified on 7 February, 1991 Batch IAS Officer will spend more time in Union Government.

 
Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) brought out a notification of Mr.Sahu posting his as Director (Administration & Finance) in the National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDC).
 
This post is in the rank of Joint Secretary in Union Government, said official sources.
 
NHIDC is scaling up construction of roads and bridges in the far flung North East and difficult zones of the country.
 
Mr.Sahu will continue in the post till 2020 as he has been allowed to continue in the Union Government for seven years.
 
For last five years, Mr.Sahu served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
 
As his Central Deputation tenure was coming to an end, the State Government looking at his requirement to stay at New Delhi, extended his tenure for another two years.
 
Similarly 1995 Batch IAS Sushil Kumar Lohani, who was serving as Joint Secretary Fertilizers in the Ministry of chemicals and Fertilizers has been given extension for another year by the State Government.
 
And Union Government has assigned him a new job as Additional Central Provident Commissioner.
 
An Odia IAS Officer of 1997 Batch Subhashish Panda has been appointed as Deputy Director of All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS).
 
Mr.Panda is an IAS Officer of Himachal Pradesh Cadre, now will serve in a crucial assignment.
