Naveen Honours Dora

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik while honoring T Prasad Rao Dora for becoming the Global Vice Chairman of the International Fisheries Cooperative Federation (IFCI) has congratulated him for bringing honor for the State in the International Forum.

Chief Minister Mr.Patnaik was happy to honor Mr.Dora here today at Mega Agriculture Jamboree Krushi Odisha Convention today and expressed his pleasure for the leading co-operator, who has achieved a great feat.
Minister Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment and FARD, Pradeep Kumar Maharathy lauded efforts of Mr.Dora in the field of extension of Fisheries Sector in Odisha and in India.
Agriculture Production Commissioner Gagan Kumar Dhal has also graced the convention held here.
Mr.Dora is the first Indian to become the Vice President of IFCI, which is the Global Cooperative Institution of Fishers.
He is the President of FISHCOPFED, India’s Top Orgnization of Fishers  went past his opponents to become the Vice Chairman of the International Organization.
Mr.Dora, who is also the President of FISHFED, Odishahas been taking the State Level organization to greater heights with his leadership and support of the Department of Fisheries and ARD.
IFCI, headquartered in South Korea held the election conducted by International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) during its Global Conference and General Assembly Meet held at Kuala Lumpur.
The International Fisheries Cooperative is dedicated to the development of fisheries cooperatives around the world.
This is a rare honor  for Mr.Dora to represent Odisha in this prestigious International Organization.
He has the honour of being the first President of National Fisheries Cooperative Federation to become the Vice Chairman of International Fisheries Cooperative.
