Is It Gambling ?

Is it gambling?

Governing BJD Vice-President and Minister Dr Damodar Rout asked what kind of business BJP President Amit Shah’s son was doing.
Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah company Temple Enterprises Private Limited could achieve a turnover of Rs 80 crores in 2015-16 starting from mere Rs 50,000 in 2014, a media report said.
Though Dr.Rout is not an official Spokesman of the ruling BJD, he has made allegation against Mr.Shah.
Dr.Rout said Jay’s company achieving a turnover which is 16,000 times more than the previous year can only be dubbed as gambling
Odisha’s Agriculture Minister Dr.Rout was earlier criticized by Odisha BJP leaders when he had said that Mr.Shah was speaking the language of “Bookie.”
Dr.Rout said this when Mr.Shah criticized the Naveen Patnaik Government and dubbed the Chief Minister as a “Jala Hua Transformer (Burnt Down Transformer).
Meanwhile Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Prasad Harichandan also demanded a probe into the windfall gains in business made by Amit Shah’s Son, after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister.
Mr.Harichandan at a press conference claimed that the “Sabka Saath..Sabka Vikash” slogan given by the BJP actually meant “Amit ke Saath, son Jay ka Vikas.”
Claiming that Jay Shah’s company Temple Enterprises Pvt Ltd could not have achieved a turnover of Rs 80 crores in 2015-16 starting from a mere Rs 50,000 in 2014 without illegitimate patronage from the BJP at the Centre and the party needs to answer on that.
BJP State Unit Spokesperson Sajjan Sharma, however, dismissed the media report and rubbished Dama’s allegation pointing to the fact that Jay had already filed a criminal defamation case of Rs 100 crore in the Ahmedabad Court against the writer of the article.
