Senior Journalist Bismay Mohanty is No More.

He was only 62 and came here along with his wife Bijayalakshmi Mohanty for Darshan of Lord Jagannath.

The Editor of a leading Vernacular Daily of North Odisha,’Aji Kali’, passed away after a massive heart attack he was admitted in District Headquarters Hospital, where he breathed his last said sources.
He had undergone kidney replacement and suffering due to high level of Diabetes.
Known for his organizing capacity and persuasive approach, Mohanty was liked by cross section of the Society.
A number of Scribes across the State have mourned his sad demise as they were personally connected to him.
His loving and caring approach made him popular among the Journalist Community.
Bereaving his demise the Scribes Community have presented glowing tributes for their colleague.
Mohanty was successfully bringing out ‘Aaji Kali’ over decades.
Senior Scribe Kishore Dwivedi described him as his Friend, Philosopher and Guide.
He said with sincere effort and continuous hard work combined with sweat and blood ‘Aaji Kali’ could become the Popular Mouthpiece Of Common People In Northern Odisha.
Mr.Dwivedi termed him as a born leader as he has been fighting for the just rights of needy and marginalized  Media Persons as the President Of Small And Medium Newspapers Associations Of Odisha.
Bijaya Ketan Mishra, Resident Editor Political and Business Daily lauded his efforts for supporting Journalistic Causes.
Several other Scribes have also remembered him fondly as a Leader in Media of the state.
