Jatra To Connect People

BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik said there is massive misinformation campaign organized by opposition to malign BJD Government, so the leaders and workers are needed to counter false propaganda with facts

Mr.Patnaik today kicked off Party’s Jan Sampark Padajatra from BJB Nagar Mahisakhala Slum here to reach the masses and said factual information are needed to be fed to the people.
Padajatra begins from 2 October will continue till 11 October, which aims to connect people with Party.
Top Leaders of BJD were present in the meeting including Debi Prasad Mishra, Prasanna Patsani, Priyadarshi Mishra and others.
He said the State Government is helping out the poor and now the slum dwellers will have the same facilities like Urban Elite.
Over 300 flats are coming up and at least 89 slum dwellers have moved to the flats, which were built with all modern facilities.

BJD Leaders said the objective of the Padajatra is to create awareness among the people and inform them about the injustice being meted out to Odisha by the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.

However, launching a scathing attack on the Governing BJD, the BJP has dubbed the move as a cover up for the State Government’s failure on all fronts.
“It’s not a journey of achievements, but a ‘Ghanta Ghoda’ Jatra (A Cover Up Operation)” alleged BJP General Secretary Prithiviraj Harichandan.
He said every year they do such exercise with a particular agenda. The foot march is undertaken with a handful of party leaders whereas common men are absent.
They propagate two things; some baseless allegations against Centre and beat their own drum, Mr.Harichandan said at a Media Meet.
He blamed the State Government for poor health services, vacant teacher posts and frequent collapse of bridges alleging that BJD Big Wigs having nexus with contractors.
BJP leader said that during next ten days questions will be asked to BJD Supremo and Ministers about their follies and mis-governance.
