Shah To Give Mantra

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah will arrive in the State Capital on 6 September 6 to give Mantra to the party’s office-bearers and chalk out a strategy to achieve the goal of winning 120 Seats in Odisha Legislative Assembly.

During his three-day visit to Odisha, Mr.Shah will meet office-bearers and party leaders starting from zonal level to State level, BJP General Secretary and Odisha in-charge Arun Singh told Media here today.
Mr.Singh, who has reached here ahead of Mr.Shah’s State visit to review the National President’s tour programme and its preparation, said that Mr.Shah will have thorough discussions with core committee members, senior leaders, MLAs, MPs and state functionaries.

He will also address more than one lakh party activists at the Convention to boost their morale and encourage them to work more enthusiastically to help the party win 2019 Assembly election in Odisha.
BJP’s Odisha in-charge Mr.Singh said the discussions will focus on strengthening the saffron party’s base ahead of the polls.

He said Shah’s focus will be on highlighting the failures of the BJD Government in Odisha
Sensing the enthusiasm among party workers, Mr.Singh said he is quite optimistic about BJP winning 120 seats in 2019 Assembly poll in the State, said party sources.
However, ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Spokesperson Pratap Keshari Deb said if BJP is confident of winning 120 seats in the next Assembly polls, then why does it raise its voice over every decision taken by the State Government.

“BJP is jilted as is clear from its knee-jerk reactions to every issue including trivial ones. The party even does not hesitate to criticize the State government’s initiatives that are aimed at benefiting the poor”, Mr.Deb, a BJD MP said.
