DGP has asked the Top Cops to open accounts in Social Media in their respective districts and ranges forthwith and use it for prompt redressal of police related public grievances.

Besides, a number of complaints relating to police are being lodged in the official Twitter and Face book accounts of the Chief Minister, which need to be promptly attended, said Mr.Singh.
As per the decision, Twitter and Facebook accounts are to be opened in all districts and ranges in their names using the CUG phone number of DIB and official e-mail id of districts/ranges.
The tagline of Twitter account and profile name of Facebook account shall be official in nature.
The official logo and motto of Odisha Police shall be used in the profile picture.
